Hello and welcome to the MFL Department.
The department consists of two skilled full time members of staff:

French is taught to all pupils between the ages of 11-14 and becomes an option at the beginning of year 10. Most pupils follow the Metro text books which are modern, up to date and appealing to the pupils.
Every pupil is treated as an individual and we pride ourselves on our excellent results at GCSE level which surpass the national average.
We are a well equipped department with the latest technology such as interactive whiteboards and computers. Our rooms are attractively decorated and we proudly display many examples of fine work. Pupils enjoy taking an active part in lessons and are encouraged to participate in many different language games.
