Head Boy/Girl, Deputy Head Boy/Girl for 2010-2011
Overall we feel that today’s experience has been beneficial for each of us. It could have been anyone and it was a very close call. Everyone felt quite nervous but excited and although not all were successful in becoming Head Boy/Girl, we are all extremely proud and happy for each other.
Rhys Alford - Head Boy
¨I am ecstatic to be Head Boy, and am very happy for the others. At first I was very nervous but as I sat down the nerves went away. I cannot wait unit Year 11 where I can take on my role of Head Boy¨.
Louise Jones - Head Girl
¨I feel extremely pleased to be Head Girl but am also very happy for the other candidates. I was very nervous as I was the last to be interviewed but cannot wait until next year when I can take on the role of Head Girl¨.
Lloyd Lewis - Deputy Head Boy
¨I feel so amazed to have this marvellous opportunity of the role of Deputy Head Boy. I was so apprehensive about the interview. Then when Miss Davies and Mr David announced that I had the place, I was over the moon. I just can’t wait to be Deputy Head Boy¨.
Cassie Maggs - Deputy Head Girl
¨I believe everyone did very well in both the interviews and letters. I must admit it was a tough competition but overall, it was an amazing opportunity and experience and I am very happy with the results! ¨
Chay Walbeoff, Josh Brown & Matthew Thomas - Senior Prefects & Sports Co-ordinators
¨Even though we were unsuccessful in achieving the post of Head Boy, we are still very happy and pleased with our posts as Senior Prefects and Sports Co-ordinators¨.
By Miss A Davies
¨Mr David and I were really impressed by all of the candidates; they did themselves proud and made our job a difficult one!
There was a lot of hard work and thought put into applying for the positions and for the interviews, which shows the commitment of the pupils. Congratulations to Louise, Rhys, Cassie and Lloyd and we look forward to working with all 10 of you in September¨.
